Four lions, seated back to back, facing the four directions. Below them an abacus carved with the Dharma Chakra and the noble animals of Mauryan sculpture. This is the Lion Capital that once crowned Ashoka's column at Sarnath, where the Buddha first spoke of dharma.
Simhastambha renders that sculpture in miniature across a matched pair of cufflinks — gold finish, fine relief detailing, weighted for the cuff of a bandhgala or a well-cut shirt.
For the man who dresses with intent, and for whom heritage is not decoration but inheritance.
- Gold-finish brass, pair
- Swivel bar closure
- Presented in Albetro rosewood gift box
- Handcrafted in India
Inspired by the Lion Capital at Sarnath, an archaeological artefact of the Mauryan period, now held at the Sarnath Museum. An artistic interpretation, not a replica. Not the State Emblem of India.
